Directions

Our home arena is the Green Mountain Arena in Morrisville, Vermont.  Directions to the arena.

What to Wear

CLOTHING

  • Dress in layers.  The arena temperature is about 30 degrees and you'll be standing on ice in here for two hours. If you normally wear a hat outside, you'll probably want to wear one here as well.
  • Clothing should allow freedom of movement. You need to be able to squat and lunge.
  • Lightweight gloves to keep your hands warm while still allowing you to feel the stone.

FOOTWEAR

  • Clean shoes. Carry, *DO NOT WEAR*, the shoes in which you intend to curl.
  • Athletic shoes are fine, but try to use shoes that you don't wear outside. If you've worn them outside, just make sure you clean them before you curl in them.
  • Avoid shoes with Eyelets or metal on top.
  • If your feet tend to get cold, consider wearing two pairs of socks.
  • The club will supply any other equipment necessary.

All ages and experience levels welcome. A great aspect of the sport of curling is that almost anyone can learn to play... and it's a great amount of fun!
