GMCC Curling Registration, Fall 2011

Good news for this upcoming curling season – after 2 years without ‘home’ ice, Green Mountain Curling Club has ice time secured in Morrisville!

We will start our 2011/2012 curling season on Oct 22. As in previous years, games will be scheduled for Saturday mornings (9-11AM). We thank you for your patience and understanding over the course of the past 2 years - and looking forward to once again having a strong club membership.

With the curling season just around the corner, the Green Mountain Curling Club (GMCC) is offering the following membership categories. The intent is to provide our members with a flexible and affordable dues schedule consistent with the operating needs of the club.

FULL MEMBERSHIP: GMCC + GNCC/USCA ($80.00 for 2011/2012 season):

· Allows you to curl at GMCC Saturday curling or other GMCC events (i.e. GMCC sponsored ice rentals at Border Club, LaColle club, etc). Member ice fee will be $11.00/game (Non-member fee =$15/game).

· Includes GNCC/USCA membership (Jan 1-Dec 31 2012)

o Allows members to participate in events sponsored by these organizations

§ GNCC/USCA Bonspiels: examples include Francis Dykes, Women’s Challenge (website: www.gncc.org)

o Includes publications/newsletters from these organizations

NOTE: The Grand National Curling Club (GNCC) coordinates curling activities amongst clubs in the northeast. The United States Curling Association, (USCA) is the national governing body for curling in the USA.

LIMITED MEMBERSHIP: GMCC Only ($35.00 for 2011/2012 season):

· Allows you to curl at GMCC Saturday curling or other GMCC events (i.e. GMCC sponsored ice rentals at Border Club, LaColle club, etc). Member ice fee will be $11.00/game (Non-member fee =$15/game).

· Does NOT include GNCC/USCA membership (Jan 1-Dec 31 2012)

** Keep in mind: you MUST be a member of GNCC/USCA if you plan to play in any Bonspiels or events sponsored by these orgs during the period of Jan1-Dec 31 2012.
