Sign up for the next three week block of curling!  November 12, 19,  and December 3. 
We also need 3-4 ice prep volunteers to show up 1 hour prior to start of the games to get our ice ready.

We have 3 sheets  - meaning 24 members can play during 1 timeslot which right now is 9-11AM, Saturday mornings. (Note: depending on interest, we could expand in the future to 2 games - possibly 8-10AM and 10-noon). 

Some logistics on sign-ups for Saturday morning games and volunteering for ice prep are attached below.  As was done in previous years, you will need to sign-up for games and ice prep via the DrawMaster account:

ICE PREP SIGN-UP:

If you are willing to volunteer for Ice Prep, please send a note to the above email account saying you will commit to ice prep (8AM) on this Saturday .  We always need volunteers for this so if you can’t make this Saturday, there are plenty of upcoming opportunities.  Don’t be fearful to volunteer for any Saturday – there will always be at least one ‘experienced’ ice person there to ‘guide’ you!!  Again – we need 3-4 people each week to make our curling season work.

SATURDAY CURLING SIGN-UP:

To be placed on the roster for Saturday mornings, you will need to send a note to the above email.  Some guidelines (to help us with the roster/team set-up):

1.      If you would like to play on Saturday morning, please send a note to this account PRIOR to 6pm on Thurs evenings.  If you had signed up and need to cancel - that will also need to be done by 6pm on Thursday.  By cancelling on Thurs evenings, you allow someone else to sign up and be available to play that may have been on the waiting list.

2.      To give everybody a fair chance of curling, the sign-up window will be limited to 3 weeks (prior to a Saturday curling).  In other words, you can now sign up for Nov 12, Nov19 and Dec 3.  Note: Learn-to-Curl participants who join the club will get sign-up priority in the week after the clinic.

3.      The starting date for our club is 10/22/11.  You must be a member of GMCC in order to pay the weekly $11.00 ice fee.  If you are not a member, the ice fee is $15.00.  This is collected prior to play on Saturday mornings.

4.      If you have a preference for position (lead, second, Vice, Skip) - please let me know as well and I’ll certainly try to accommodate..
