The Green Mountain Curling Club is a group of curlers and fans bringing curling into the state of Vermont. We've been a club since 2005 and curling in Vermont since 2006.
In the 2013–2014 curling season, our home ice moved to Bedford, Quebec (just 10 minutes over the border from the I-89 crossing) at the Bedford Curling Club.
(due to the closure of the Green Mountain Arena in Morrisville, Vt. — And yes, plans are in development for our own dedicated ice in the future.)
In 2005, we achieved official status as a 501(c)(3) public charity! Our purpose is to promote local, regional national and international competition in the sport of curling and to prepare people for such competition. To this end, we offer learn to curl clinics, regular curling, membership in the GNCC & USCA, and opportunities to participate in bonspiels.
